FAQ

Common questions

What does our city need to provide?

Usually just the Consolidated Plan link, preferred logo, and the page you want the guide to point readers to. If your city has brand guidelines or specific contact information, you can send those too.

Is this a replacement for the official Consolidated Plan?

No. The guide is a plain-language companion to the official plan. It helps residents and stakeholders understand the plan, but the official Consolidated Plan remains the source document.

Can we print and share it?

Yes. The final guide is designed for public communication. Cities can post it online, share the PDF, print copies for meetings, or order printed booklets through Brevi.

Can it match our city branding?

Yes. Each guide is adapted to the city's logo, colors, plan years, data, and public-facing voice.

Do you offer translation?

Yes. Spanish translation and layout starts at $1,500. Additional languages can be quoted separately.

What if our plan is still in draft form?

That can work. A guide can be created from a draft plan, but final delivery may depend on whether plan details, funding amounts, or goals change before adoption.

How much staff time does this require?

The process is designed to be low-burden. Brevi works from the plan and public source materials, then sends a first proof for review.

How do we approve an order?

Brevi can provide a concise quote and project terms for your purchasing process. Orders can move forward by signed quote, purchase order, or written email approval referencing the quote, depending on your city's requirements.
